It's a challenge for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

One run resulted off Gaud's first delivery and from there Healy was underway.

"A chance to play and engage in competition with her and merely enjoy the moment that way, somewhat inspired me," said Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 deliveries - her quickest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 balls as she punished short deliveries, scoring 21 fours and three sixes.

Once she was removed the team needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - an achievable target now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"To chase 330 is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the assurance to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, if necessary, we know we can achieve it."

These statements will be the last Australia's opponents at this World Cup should hear.

In recent days a belief they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this success following victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at a certain moment.
