WHere is a simplified interpretation of a cocktail featured on a new menu. Designed as a batch pre-mixed that's packed with flavours of the Christmas time, rendering it excellent for hosting a holiday party. Reserve the remaining cordial to use in brunch beverages, desserts, or to mix additional servings of the drink.

Makes enough for 10 servings
To make the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
For the Drink (yields 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
To prepare the Cordial: Combine all the components inside a pot, bring to a light boil, agitating so the sugar melts. Then, turn off the stove and leave to reach room temperature fully. Decant to a sealable bottle, seal and refrigerate it chilled, it will last for about one month.
Preparing the Premix: Mix every liquids into one large bottle, allow it to infuse for one hour, then strain best through a fine cloth, making it fully clarified.
For serving: Add 85ml from the premix into your cocktail shaker filled with ice, gently stirring lightly for about 60 seconds to cool it down. Filter into an cold coupe glass or equivalent, decorate with the cranberries and finish using a light spray with the mandarin essence above the glass.
